When you are just starting your new venture, it is easy to be intimidated by all the jargon and terms you hear your coworkers use. It is important that you be comfortable with how things here do things around here. So I have created these simple but effective training modules for you to use in any way or form.

Training Modules For New Hire

When you are just starting your new business venture, it is easy to be intimidated by all the jargon and terms you hear your coworkers use. It is important that you be comfortable with how things here do things around here. So I have created these simple but effective training modules for you to use in any way or form.

The guides below are available for self-onboarding. This is to test out how well you follow instructions.

(Maximum days to finish onboarding = 1-2 weeks)

WEEK 1

COMPUTER SETTINGS
Please provide us with your System Name, as we will utilize this information to send you a personalized code and include you in our Dropbox community.
 
What needs to be done?
 
STEP 1: Download and fill out this DOCUMENT and save this to a folder in your Computer
 

STEP 2: Prepare a Formal HeadShot (we will use this across ALL sites). Add it to the folder as well.

 

STEP 3: Send the file to  marketing@taglendinggroup.com

SET YOUR OUTLOOK

You can start by setting up your Outlook

Ensure that you have the Outlook app installed on your Laptop/Computer. In case you don't have the app installed, please refer to this informative video that will guide you on signing in using your company email.

 
STEP 1: WATCH THE VIDEO (skip to step 3 if you have the Outlook App installed on your Computer/Laptop)

 
 

STEP 2: TRY NEW OUTLOOK
 
Toggle the button to make your Mail use the new Outlook. 


 
 
STEP 3: PERSONALIZED YOUR PROFILE

By adding a unique touch with your picture and Signature (which was previously discussed in the section: Setting up your HubSpot Profile - "How to Create a Meeting Link.")

JOIN OUR SLACK COMMUNITY

You can start by setting up your Slack Profile

If you have questions, SLACK will be the primary way to communicate with your team and the marketing team.
 
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD the Slack app on your Laptop/Desktop. DO NOT use the web version.
 
Also, download it on your mobile phone. You can use your phone's app store or click the link below using your phone.

You may notice various channels listed on the left sidebar, but let's focus on other steps now.
 
STEP 3: JOIN #ONBOARDING CHANNEL

To do this, you can go to the search bar, type "onboarding" and then join. It should look like this 👇🏼
 
 
Wait for a brief moment until our friendly bot extends a warm welcome. Simply immerse yourself in the instructions flowing through the channel and embrace the journey ahead.
 
 
STEP 4: FOLLOW THE THREAD

Continue progressing by clicking the "CONTINUE" button within the thread. Take a look at the example provided below for guidance.
 
 

STEP 5: SET UP YOUR PROFILE

If you're currently at this stage and find yourself uncertain about how to create your profile in Slack, it's possible that you haven't had a chance to view the video in the thread. Be sure to return to step 4 and carefully follow the instructions.

 

STEP 7: CONNECT OUTLOOK AND SLACK

Linking your Slack to your Outlook will ensure that you never miss out on important notifications.

SET YOUR HUBSPOT PROFILE
Tag Lending Group relies on HubSpot, a powerful CRM / CMS system, to streamline its operations. However, before you can fully utilize HubSpot's capabilities, it is essential to set up your personalized Profile.
 
 
STEP 1: Check the HUBSPOT INVITE sent to your company email.
 
STEP 2Check this Step-by-Step Guide on How to Set up Your General Settings in HubSpot 
 
 
STEP 3: Download the HUBSPOT APP on your Mobile Phone for easier access.

You can use your phone's app store, check this GUIDE, or just Scan the QR Code below.

 

ADD RING CENTRAL TO YOUR CHROME

 Easily connect with your contact/deal while using HubSpot.

What needs to be done?


STEP 1: Add RING CENTRAL FOR HUBSPOT chrome extension to your browser

Upon launching HubSpot, you will find this located in the right corner every time you access the platform.

STEP 2: Click Ring Central and sign in using the credentials below.

  • PHONE #: 3055038655
  • PASSWORD: Welcome1
  • CODE: Will be sent in #tech-mktg-support Slack Channel

  • Click I Accept

 

  • Click Done

 

STEP 3: Once you are in, make sure to update the settings as shown below.

  • Region: United States
  • Audio: Allow your audio to be connected

 STEP 4: Navigate to a record in HubSpot, hover over the phone number, and observe the icons that appear. Utilize these icons to either initiate a call or send a text directly from within HubSpot.
SET YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND LINK TREE

By setting up your Linktree, you can showcase all your website and other crucial links on your Instagram profile, making it easier for your followers to verify you.
 
STEP 1: SIGNUP TO LINKTREE

By establishing a professional presence on LinkedIn, you can forge connections with like-minded individuals in your industry or related fields, enabling them to gain insight into who you are.

MEETING YOUR MARKETING SPECIALIST
From this point on, it is expected that you have completed all the necessary account set-up. A Marketing Specialist may have contacted you recently, but it is best to schedule a meeting (Slack Huddle) with them to address any remaining concerns before you are introduced to your Team Leader for Training. Team Leaders will only answer questions related to the process and will not entertain questions regarding setting up.

SET UP TRAINING WITH TEAM LEADERS

Deal Submission and Quality Control Training

New Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) and Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs) joining Tag Lending Group, LLC must submit a minimum of five (5) deals to their Team Leader for review. After clearing these submissions, they gain Quality Control Clearance and can independently submit loan files. Ongoing compliance with company policies and regulations is essential. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
