In GA, MT, OH, OR, NC and PA, a Loan Officer sponsored by Tag Lending Group cannot be sponsored by any other company licensed in these states.

If you are currently licensed and want to obtain a license in more states, you DO NOT need to pass the exam again.
Select the state in which you want to obtain a license. You will see the required state-specific education hours and any additional requirements needed for licensure. In general, you do not need to retake the exam.
Register and complete the state-specific course at mortgage-education.com. Each hour costs $19. You can skip this step if no state-specific additional hours are required.
Login to NMLS and complete the individual form (MU4), pay any associated fees, and submit your application to NMLS.

Steps to sign up with Tag Lending Group
Log in to NMLS and Grant Access Right to Tag Lending Group.
Remove your relationship with your current employer, put an end date to your prior employment and submit a new MU4 to add Tag Lending Group as your employer.
Request NMLS Sponsorship from Tag Lending Group. We will be notified and proceed to sponsor you.
Resolve any Active License Items the state requests. Log in and check NMLS regularly. Once complete, it will take approximately 5-7 days for approval.
If you are currently a W-2 Loan Officer with good standing, you can apply to have a license in another state and originate right away.

Compensation Types
A Loan Officer must be classified as either W-2 or 1099 (cannot be both).
In these states, the LO must be classified as W-2: CA-DFPI, GA, IN-DFI, MA, MS, MT, NV, NJ, NC, SC, RI, VT
