The Florida Hometown Heroes Program helps eligible, income-qualified first-time homebuyers purchase a primary residence in Florida. The program provides down payment and closing cost assistance while offering competitive first mortgage options for qualified workforce professionals, military members, and veterans who meet applicable program requirements.

Provides up to 5% of the total first mortgage loan amount for qualified borrowers.
Assistance ranges from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $35,000.
Funds may be used toward eligible down payment and closing costs.
Assistance is provided through a 0%, non-amortizing, 30-year deferred second mortgage.
